Gain friends and social skills for your young child!

PLAYDATE Group meets Wednesday mornings from 10:30am to noon in the newly remodeled nursery. Right now we have about 7 kids that attend regularly and they are having a blast! They are building friendships and obtaining social skills. The adults like it too!! During this time, there is free play, a craft and a snack. The group is free and anyone interested should contact Tiffany or the church office.

AA, NA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Youth Club of Marshall County

Many community groups utilize the church building throughout the week. Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts,Tuesday Arts, Literacy Program, National Council on Aging and the Youth Club of Marshall County.

Soul Cafe

The Soul Cafe is open Sunday mornings in the Sanford Room/Soul Cafe (across from the sanctuary) at 8:30am for light refreshments, coffee and drink, and fellowship.

Simpson Church offers 1 blended worship service each Sunday morning beginning at 10am. A brief Children's Message is held during worship for our young ones. Let's Grow Together!

ENGAGE Young Adult Group

The word - ENGAGE - has multiple meanings, at least according to Webster's Dictionary. One in particular means: to bring together or interlock. That's what the Young Adult Group is, people coming together and just hanging out! The group normally meets every Sunday evening at 6pm in the Sanford Room/Soul Cafe.
They will break for the summer and resume meeting on Sunday evening, September 18th, at 6pm in the Sanford Room/Soul Cafe of the church.
The group is not just for married couples and the topics are varied. We spend a great deal of time just laughing! We also eat! All young adults and those that are "young at heart" are invited for a time of fun, food, fellowship and discussion. Meetings are held in the Soul Cafe. Childcare will be provided.

Simpson UMC offers Sunday classes for all age groups during the school year.

Led by a dedicated team of volunteers, Simpson UMC offers classes for children, youth and adults of all ages. Classes are offered at 9am during the school term.
This group will break for the summer months.
Sunday School and JAM Jesus and Me TIME kicks off on Sunday, September 11th.
During the school year, at 9am, LIVE from SUMC is offered for everyone age kindergarten thru 6th grade at the Holy Word Theater. After the theater time, groups will divide up and go to separate activities that support the day's Word and are age appropriate. Children in 5th grade and under will meet with their families in the Soul Cafe at 9:55am.
JAM Jesus and Me TIME has been having a blast! We've done the Sheperd Shuffle, Opened a Pinata with a Giant Candy Cane, Had a Snowball Battle, watched some skits performed by the youth class...and all while learning about how Jesus wants us to live.
Many short term classes and mid-week classes are offered throughout the year as well.

Weekly prayer group.

The Prayer, Share & Care Group meets weekly on Tuesdays, at 10am in the Sanford Room of the church. Anyone wishing to join this dedicated group is welcome.

Beautiful handmade shawls

A group of women have begun a prayer shawl ministry crocheting handmade shawls. As the shawls are crocheted, the group prays "with each stitch" for the person they are making it for.

Marshall County Food Pantry

The House of Carpenter II is a ministry of Simpson Church providing food, clothing, and small household items to Marshall county residents in need. The House of Carpenter II is run solely by volunteers and hours of operation are Wednesdays 9am-11:30am. Anyone in need should register there, bringing with them proof of Marshall county residence and SSN# for each person in their household. Monetary donations to the House of Carpenter II are always appreciated. For more information you may call 304-221-9510.
